Post wise eligibility
1. System Analyst - 01 Post
Age: 35 Years
- EDUCATIONAL: Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc. (Computer Science or Information Technology) from a recognized University or Institute OR B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
- EXPERIENCE: Three years’ post qualification experience in Programming or Information Technology in a Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body or Statutory Body or in any recognized Institution
2. Post Graduate Teacher (Bengali)
Age: 30 Years
EDUCATIONAL: (i) Master Degree with 50% marks from recognized university in the relevant subject i.e. Bengali. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard.
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
3. Post Graduate Teacher (Chemistry): 01 Post
Age: 30 Years
EDUCATIONAL: (i) Master Degree with 50% marks from recognized university in the relevant subject i.e. Chemistry. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard.
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
4. Post Graduate Teacher (English): 01 Post
Age: 35 Years**
EDUCATIONAL: (i) Master Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University in the relevant subject i.e. English. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University or Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
5. Post Graduate Teacher (Mathematics): 01 Post
Age: 30 Years
EDUCATIONAL:
(i) Master Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University in the relevant subject i.e. Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.
(ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University or Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard.
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
6. Post Graduate Teacher (Physics): 01 Post
Age: 30 Years
EDUCATIONAL:
(i) Master Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University in the relevant subject i.e. (Physics) or Applied Physics or Electronic or Nuclear Physics. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University or
Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
7. Post Graduate Teacher (Political Science): 01 Post
Age: 33** Years
EDUCATIONAL:
(i) Master Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University in the relevant subject i.e. Political Science.
(ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University or Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard. NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
8. Assistant Professor (Bengali): 01 Post
Age: 38** Years
EDUCATIONAL: (A) (i) Master’s Degree (Bengali) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned/ relevant/allied subject from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Bengali) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State level eligibility test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree (Bengali) in accordance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments
from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of
the then existing ordinances/Bye- Laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the Degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:- a) Ph.D Degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode; b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by atleast two external examiners; c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal; e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conference/seminars, sponsored /funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any
similar agency. The fulfillment of the conditions (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned OR (B) Ph.D. Degree from a foreign University/Institution.
9. Assistant Professor (Commerce): 01 Post
Age: 38** Years
EDUCATIONAL:
(A) (i) Master’s Degree (Commerce) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned/ relevant/allied subject from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Commerce) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State level eligibility test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree (Commerce) in accordance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing ordinances/Bye- Laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the Degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in
